Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at AMERICAN KITCHEN & BATH, we are here to ensure that your experience is perfect.
In some extraordinary cases, you may need help with a return Do not worry, the following information will help you process your return or change request:

No merchandise may be returned for credit or exchange without the written authorization of AMERICAN KITCHEN & BATH LLC and/or its subsidiaries. This authorization is obtained from customer service or from customer advisors by email at contact@americankitchennbath.com

 

Only goods in their original unopened cartons and in resalable condition can be accepted for credit within 30 days of their purchase.

 

A handling charge of 20% of the returned merchandise shall apply (minimum of $100 USD).

 

Freight costs are the customer’s responsibility. Only previously authorized goods will be accepted for credit. We reserve the right to refuse unauthorized returns and have them returned at customer charge.

 

OPEN MERCHANDISE
"Open" and unused products and accessories in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days after delivery (*), but will be subject to a 35% restocking fee to cover the cost of testing, cleaning, and repacking.

Simply return the item to us, with prepaid shipping through the freight forwarder. The use of a non-approved shipping method will often result in delays and damages that will affect our ability to process your refund.

Some products include free shipping, so if you return one of these products, our actual shipping costs will be deducted from your refund or credit.

The returns of open products must be able to be sold with original materials and packaging.

 

SPECIAL ORDERS

Special merchandise ordered according to buyer specifications will not be eligible for return or cancellation.

 

CLAIM FOR DAMAGES

In case of damage during transportation, AMERICAN KITCHEN & BATH. and/or its subsidiaries, will not accept any obligation or responsibility. All claims for damages must be submitted to the transportation company.

 

CLAIM FOR MISSING MERCHANDISE

Any claim for missing merchandise will not be accepted by AMERICAN KITCHEN & BATH and/or its subsidiaries unless it has been submitted in writing and reported to our sales offices within three (3) days following the receipt date of goods.

All claims for missing merchandise must be submitted to the transportation company.

 

UNAUTHORIZED MODIFICATIONS OR ALTERATIONS MADE TO PRODUCT

Unauthorized modifications and/or alterations made to the product, will cancel the product guarantee. The product then becomes unreturnable for credit or exchange.

Equipment that has an engine can not be returned once it has been filled with fuel or lubricant due to federal and international shipping regulations. If the product is filled with fuel or lubricant, it must be taken to an authorized service center for repair.

CANCELED ORDERS
An order that has been processed cannot be canceled.

DAMAGED PRODUCTS
You should take the time to inspect the goods before signing the carrier's delivery receipt. If you sign the delivery receipt without inspecting the shipment, you will be responsible for filing a freight claim and for fixing the repair or return of the damaged goods. Claims for damages must be reported immediately.

SUSPECTED DAMAGE
Sometimes, the outer box may be damaged, but the product inside the box is perfectly fine. If you suspect damage, write down "Possible damage to the load" on the delivery receipt while the driver is present. In this way, if you discover later that the product is damaged, the attention and solution of a freight claim are less problematic.

OBVIOUS DAMAGE
Do not accept or sign for damaged products. If your product arrives damaged, (a) REJECT DELIVERY and (b) contact us immediately so we can process the corresponding claims and coordinate an exchange for you.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
We recommend that you test your product within 3 days after receipt so that we can quickly solve any technical problem. If you think your product is defective, do not worry, in most cases, it is a simple problem that can be solved by telephone with the support of our service and technical support advisors.

You can also contact directly the customer service departments of the different manufacturers. They have expert technicians who can help you solve your problem. Have your model number and serial number on hand for faster service.

 

RETURN AND EXCHANGE PROCEDURES

  • Contact us at:  contact@americankitchennbath.com and submit your return request, please provide all the information necessary: Invoice number, product description, product problem, contact information, and any other important information.

  • Authorization for return will be emailed to you.

  • Clearly identify the return with the pre-authorized merchandise return number, and your customer number and enclose the white copy or return authorization.

  • credit will be issued, following reception and verification of goods.
